Box Score NEW LONDON, Conn.—Donavan McClean (Jersey City, N.Y.) erupted with 23 points and 13 rebounds to lead the Mitchell College men's basketball team to a 105-89 victory at Connecticut College Thursday night.
The Mariners improved to 6-9 with the win while the Camels fell to 12-7 with the setback.

"We got outshot, we didn't defend well and I thought our concentration poor," Connecticut College Head Men's Basketball Coach Tom Satran said. "The first two might happen occasionally, particularly against an offense of Mitchell's caliber, but not focusing on what we need to do is disappointing."
The Camels led by as many as 17 in the first half and enjoyed a 52-41 lead at the break but Mitchell stormed back in the second half, knocking down 6-of-8 shots from beyond the arc.
McClean dialed up a three-ball with 7:07 remaining to vault the visitors out to an 84-79 advantage. Robinson trimmed the deficit to 89-85 when he tipped one in with 5:09 to play. But Mitchell answered back with a 6-0 run to extend their advantage to 95-85. Labossiere pulled the hosts to within 96-89 with 1:25 remaining but Mitchell was able close out the game on the foul line to come away with the 105-89 win.
