NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Connecticut College women's sailing team placed eighth among eight schools at the New England Intercollegiate Sailing Association (NEISA) Championships on Saturday afternoon.
 
The young Camels were paced by sophomore skipper Aili Moffet (Jamestown, R.I.) and senior crew member Charlotte Williams (Cambridge, Mass.). The pair placed eighth out of 16 boats with 64 points.
 
"We have worked hard over the year as a team," said head coach Jeff Bresnahan. "We are disappointed in today's performance, but we feel we are ending the women's season with a lot to look forward to in the fall."
 
Connecticut College's coed squad returns to compete at the NEISA Championships tomorrow morning on the Thames River.
