NEW LONDON, Conn.
– The Connecticut College coed sailing team finished eighth among eight schools at the New England Intercollegiate Sailing Association (NEISA) Championships on Sunday afternoon.

Just like yesterday when the women's team competed, the squad was led by sophomore skipper Aili Moffet (Jamestown, R.I.) and senior crew member Charlotte Williams (Cambridge, Mass.). The pair participated in most of the races for the A Division boat which placed 12th overall. Freshman skipper Andrew Powers (Rye, N.Y.) and sophomore crew member Ali Tillinghast (New York, N.Y.) also contributed to the team's success in the A Division.

"It was a great team effort," said head coach Jeff Bresnahan. "Aili, Charlotte, and Margaret Benson carried the team today. I am also excited and proud of Charlotte for competing in her last college fleet racing regatta."

Connecticut College will wrap up its spring season when it hosts the NEISA Team Racing Championships on Sunday, April 25th.
