NEW LONDON, Conn.
– The Connecticut College sailing program finished seventh among seven schools at the New England Intercollegiate Sailing Association (NEISA) Team Racing Championships on Sunday.

The Camels posted a 1-11 ledger in their races against the top competition in the region. Freshmen Andrew Powers (Rye, N.Y.) and Anna Olsen (Falmouth, Maine), sophomores Allie Tillinghast (New York, N.Y.) and Aili Moffet (Jamestown, R.I.), junior Alexandra Wagner (Southport, Conn.), and senior Charlotte Williams (Cambridge, Mass.) all contributed to the win in the second round over Roger Williams.

"We were excited to make progress over the course of the season, and we had some good races today," said head coach Jeff Bresnahan. "We are also coming together as a team which has been great to see. I would also like to say congratulations to Charlotte for a great day, season, and sailing career here at Conn."

Connecticut College will send a select group of athletes to compete at the singlehanded championships next weekend.
