NEW LONDON, Conn. – Sophomore
Jake Creus (Rye, N.Y.) scored the lone goal of the match as the Connecticut College men's soccer team earned a 1-0 win over Endicott on Tuesday evening at Freeman Field. With the victory, the Camels extended their winning streak to three straight matches.
Creus netted the lone goal of the game at 42:27 on a well-placed assist from junior
Augie Djerdjaj (
Mahopac, N.Y.), and the Camels did not look back. Connecticut College was able to pressure Endicott for the majority of the half, leading to a sizable 9-2 advantage in total shots through the first half of play.
The second half was much of the same with Connecticut College leading in shots by a 6-1 margin while maintaining control of the tempo and, in turn, the game.

Manoli Despines (Barrington, R.I.) made his first start of the season and had a relatively quiet game in net, as he converted on his lone opportunity for a save. The Camels
outshot their opponent by a 15-3 margin, and the two teams totaled four corner kicks each. Zach
Regulbuto suffered the loss for Endicott (1-3-2, CCC 0-0-1) despite making four saves in the contest.
Connecticut College (3-1,
NESCAC 2-0) will next host Amherst on Saturday, Sept. 25 at 2:00 p.m.
