WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Connecticut College women's swimming and diving team fell by a 195-100 final to Williams College on Saturday afternoon at Samuelson-Muir Pool.

Tiernan Shea (Grafton, Mass.) produced Conn's lone win of the meet and tallied 11 points in three individual swims. She was the first to the wall in the 100 back (58.51) and later added points with fifth-place finishes in the 1,650 free and 100 fly.

Sarah Franco (Weston, Conn.) contributed a team-high 14 points in three events. Her day began with a fourth-place finish in the 100 breast. She then placed third in the 200 breast before earning max points in the 200 IM (2:19.04). 

The team of Kate Edison (Westford, Mass.), Anika Svoboda (Westford, Mass.), Vaughn Ammon (Franklin, Tenn.) and Sarah Daly (Mendham, N.J.) closed out the meet with Conn's fastest time in the 200 free relay (1:40.46) this season.

Conn College will next host Colby College on Monday, January 16 at 1:00 p.m.
