MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The Connecticut College women's swimming and diving team dropped its final dual meet of the season, 159-136, against Wesleyan University on Sunday afternoon at the Webster Family Natatorium.
Hannah Guay (Wakefield, Mass.) and Kate Edison (Westford, Mass.) each swam to a pair of individual wins in the meet. Guay took first place in both the 500 free (5:16.42) and 1,000 free (10:52.56) while Edison touched the wall first in the 200 back (2:10.22) and the 200 IM (2:14.39).
Three other Camels also posted individual wins on the day. Tiernan Shea (Grafton, Mass.) won the 100 back (58.82) while Vaughn Ammon (Franklin, Tenn.) posted the fastest time in the 50 free (25.07). In the diving well, Kelsey Halio (Westford, Mass.) took the top spot in the 3M competition with a score of 172.34.
Conn College will next compete at the NESCAC Championship on February 9-12.
