ORLANDO, Fla. – The Connecticut College men's tennis team capped its spring trip with a 7-2 victory over SUNY Oneonta on Thursday afternoon at the USTA National Campus Collegiate Center.

The Camels secured their first win of the spring by winning two of three doubles matches and five of six singles contests. All six members picked up a victory on the day, with Jules Taylor-Kerman (New York, N.Y.), Walker Mulligan (Guilford, Conn.) and James Serhant III (Hadley, Mass.) posting wins in both doubles and singles.

Aaron Fleishman (Brookline, Mass.) and Taylor-Kerman set the tone at the top doubles spot, earning a point with an 8-4 victory to get things started. Mulligan and Serhant continued their winning streak at the No. 3 position, improving to 5-1 on the season with their fourth-straight victory.

In singles action, the Camels picked up all five of their wins in straight sets. Taylor-Kerman topped Mason Spottek (6-0, 6-4) at the No. 2 spot, and Serhant earned his first win of the year against Jacob Dornsife (6-2, 7-5) at No. 3. Gavin Anderson (Avon, Conn.) took the opening set in a tiebreaker before running away from William Schmid (7-6, 6-1) at No. 4, and Mulligan (6-0, 6-0) and Krishh Tipnis (Thane, India) (6-0, 6-1) breezed to victories at No. 5 and 6, respectively.

Conn College (2-4 overall) will next host Wheaton College on Tuesday, March 21 at 3:00 p.m.
