NEW LONDON, Conn. -- The Connecticut College men's tennis team took down Wheaton 7-2 at home on Tuesday afternoon. The victory marked the second consecutive win for the Camels, coming off a decision over Oneonta last week.
Conn won two of the three doubles matches and five of six singles contests to secure the first home victory of the spring season. All five singles matches were won in straight-sets.
Sophomores
Walker Mulligan (Guilford, Conn.) and
Andy Feldman (Newton, Mass.) were particularly impressive out of the No. 4 and 6 singles positions respectively. Both sophomores topped their opponents by identical scores of 6-0, 6-1.
James Serhant III (Hadley, Mass.),
Gavin Anderson (Avon, Conn.), and
Krishh Tipnis (Thane, India) also picked up decision victories for the Camels.
Connecticut College (3-4 overall) will return to action tomorrow at home against Emerson.
