SOMERVILLE, Mass. – The Connecticut College women's tennis team fell 9-0 to No. 8 Tufts University on Sunday afternoon at the South Tennis Courts.
The Jumbos, who won all six singles matches in straight sets, improved to 8-7 overall and 7-2 in NESCAC play. Conn's
Ella Griffiths (Concord, Mass.) put up a battle at the No. 5 spot, pushing Kennedy May to 12 games in the opening set before falling by a 7-5, 6-1 final.
Conn College (7-8 overall, 0-8 NESCAC) will next host Colby College on Saturday, April 22 at 2:00 p.m.
