WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Connecticut College women's tennis team fell by an 8-1 final against 13th-ranked Williams College on Sunday afternoon.
Williams won all eight matches that were played on the day. Conn's lone point came at No. 6 singles by default.
Sana Bhat (New Delhi) and
Kinley Yangden (Thimphu, Bhutan) turned in Conn's best doubles performance, winning three games at the No. 3 spot before falling by an 8-3 tally. The Ephs swept all three doubles matches and then went on to win five singles matches in straight sets.
Conn College (7-5 overall, 0-5 NESCAC) will next play at Trinity College on Saturday, April 8 at 10:00 a.m.
