NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Connecticut College women's swimming and diving team fell by a 200-88 final to No. 7 Williams College on Saturday afternoon at Lott Natatorium.
The Ephs posted wins in the first 14 events of the meet and did not score the final two. Williams improved to 3-0 in head-to-head competition on the season.
Four Camels posted runner-up finishes on the day.
Jenna Charlat (Bedford, N.H.) finished two-tenths of a second off the winning time in the 100 back, and
Sarah Franco (Weston, Conn.) trailed by only four-tenths of a second in the 200 breast.
Rosemary Bonadies (Nashville, Tenn.) and
Kailin Fuller (Bowdoinham, Maine) also took second in the 200 back and 50 free, respectively.
Prior to the meet, the Camels honored Franco and
Marie-Eve Hebert (Princeton, N.J.) in a special ceremony. The two seniors were competing in the final home meet of their careers.
Conn will next compete at Amherst College on Saturday, January 27 at 1:00 p.m.
