BRUNSWICK, Maine - For the third consecutive game, the Connecticut College women's ice hockey earned a tie, this time 1-1 with host Bowdoin College on Saturday afternoon from Sidney J. Watson Arena in Brunswick, Maine. With the tie, Conn moves to 5-3-4 overall and 1-3-2 in NESCAC play, while Bowdoin moves to 6-5-2 and 2-2-2 in conference play.

Conn (5-3-4, 1-3-2) responded with the next five shots, but the Camels were held off the board. With just under nine minutes left in the period, Casey Chesner (Great Falls, Va.) took the puck from Charlotte Harris (Ystrad Mynach, Wales) cutting out around the net, and firing up and under the crossbar to put Conn up 1-0 at 11:14. Five minutes later, the Polar Bears tied the game at one, on a tally from Brett Stoddard, as the teams remained tied after one.
In the second period, each team traded chances, but both defenses and goalies hunkered down, keeping the game tied. The Camels started the third period strong, tallying the first four shots of the frame, but Sally Solotaroff-Webber kept Conn at bay. For the rest of the period, the teams traded shots, but neither found the winning goal in regulation, as the game headed to overtime.
Conn had the lion's share of chances in the extra frame, as the Camels looked for the winner. The best chance for the winning goal came off the stick of Alana Burm (Hingham, Mass.) who fired a shot from the slot, ringing it off the crossbar, and staying out. Galizio made one save in overtime, as the game ended in the 1-1 tie.
