NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Connecticut College women's tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision to Tufts University on Saturday morning in NESCAC action at Luce Field House.

Tufts took all three doubles matches before capturing five of the six singles contests in straight sets. The Jumbos improved to 8-6 overall and 5-3 in league action.

Sana Bhat (New Delhi) was the lone Camel to extend her match, battling Steffy Jullian into a third set at the No. 5 spot. Bhat fell 6-2 in the opening set but rallied back to win six straight games in the second. However, Jullian recovered to claim the deciding set by a 6-1 final. 

Conn (7-10 overall, 0-8 NESCAC) will next host Trinity College on Saturday, April 27 at 2:00 p.m.
