NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Connecticut College women's tennis team suffered an 8-1 setback against No. 6 Williams College on Saturday morning in NESCAC play at the CC Tennis Courts.
Lily Kerachsky (East Greenwich, R.I.) secured the lone point for the Camels, splitting sets with Annabelle Siegel at No. 2 singles before winning 10-6 in a tiebreaker. She has won four of her last five singles matches and improved to 6-6 overall on the season.
Williams (9-2 overall, 3-1 NESCAC) captured the other five singles matches in straight sets. The Ephs also swept the doubles portion and didn't yield more than four games in any match.
Conn (6-6 overall, 0-4 NESCAC) will next host No. 8 Middlebury College on Sunday, April 7 at 10:00 a.m.
