LEWISTON, Maine – The Connecticut College field hockey team dropped a 4-0 decision to No. 6 Bates College on Saturday afternoon in NESCAC play at Campus Avenue Field.
After yielding a goal in the first five minutes of the contest, the Camels kept it a one-score game until midway through the third quarter. The Bobcats scored twice in the final 7:45 of the period—and added another less than four minutes into the fourth—to improve to 11-2 overall and 6-2 in league action.
Bates limited Conn to eight shots and five penalty corners.
Isabella Carnall (Malvern, Pa.) finished with four saves in goal for the Camels while
Megan Pons (Charlotte, N.C.) tacked on a defensive save.
Conn (5-7 overall, 1-7 NESCAC) will next host Johnson & Wales University on Wednesday, October 22 at 4:30 p.m.
