BENNINGTON, Vt. – The No. 44 Connecticut College men's tennis team fell by a 7-0 final against No. 27 Williams College on Saturday afternoon in a NESCAC showdown at the Bennington Tennis Center.

The Ephs opened the match by sweeping through doubles play. Conn's best result came at the No. 3 spot, where Krishh Tipnis (Thane, India) and Sigmund Winiecki (Jaffrey, N.H.) battled to a 6-4 setback.

In singles, Williams took all but one match in straight sets. Walker Mulligan (Guilford, Conn.) was the lone exception at No. 4, as he took the opening set off Leon Liu by a 6-3 count before dropping the second in a tiebreaker.
