MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – The No. 44 Connecticut College men's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision against No. 12 Middlebury College on Sunday morning in a NESCAC clash at the Nelson Recreation Center.
The Panthers swept all nine matches on the day, improving to 9-5 overall (5-2 NESCAC) on the season.
Wolf Sohlberg (Espoo, Finland) and
Walker Mulligan (Guilford, Conn.) each took five games off their opponents in singles play. Sohlberg fell by a 6-2, 6-3 final against Thehan Wijemanne at the No. 3 spot while Mulligan fell by the same tally to Reif Larsen at No. 4.
Conn (10-9 overall, 1-7 NESCAC) will next play at Tufts University on Saturday, April 19 at 10:00 a.m.
