MEDFORD, Mass. – The No. 49 Connecticut College men's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision at No. 3 Tufts University on Saturday morning at the Tufts Tennis Center.
The Jumbos won all nine matches on the day to improve to 16-1 overall (8-0 NESCAC).
The No. 5 singles match between
Walker Mulligan (Guilford, Conn.) and Takehiro Shuda was the lone contest that required a third set. Shuda took the opening set before Mulligan countered by a 6-2 count in the second. However, Shuda bounced back in the deciding third set to complete the Tufts sweep.
Conn (10-10 overall, 1-8 NESCAC) will next host Hamilton College on Saturday, April 26 at 2:00 p.m.
