NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Connecticut College sailing team returned to action, hosting the Thompson Trophy Camel division at Kohn Waterfront.

Conn finished seventh across 18 races.

The skippers for the Camels were Skylor Sweet (Bear, Del.), William Hurd (West Dennis, Mass.), Izzy Wu-Karr (Baltimore, Md.), Henry Scholz (Lake Forest, Ill.), and Duncan Craine (Weston, Conn.). Rounding out the crews for Conn were Coco Carragher (New York, N.Y.), Alejandro Amezcua (New Rochelle, N.Y.), Griffin Stead (Vineyard Haven, Mass.), Andrew Selian (Portsmouth, R.I.), and Sophia Rey (Newport, R.I.).

Conn returns to action next weekend, traveling to New Haven, Conn. for a regatta hosted by Yale and to Providence, R.I. for a regatta hosted by Brown.
