Sailing Competes at NEISA Open and Women's Championships

NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Connecticut College sailing team returned to action, competing at the NEISA Spring Women's Fleet Race Championship hosted by Yale and the NEISA Open Fleet Race Championships hosted by Brown.

At the NEISA Open Championships at Brown, Conn finished 13th with 262 points across two racing divisions. The A division boat finished 10th with 110 points, as Skylor Sweet (Bear, Del.) skippered the boat with Vivian Smith (Hastings-on-Hudston, N.Y.) and Tatem Gee (Burlingame, Calif.) rounding out the crew. The B division boat was skippered by Henry Scholz (Lake Forest, Ill.) and William Hurd (West Dennis, Mass.) with Alejandro Amezcua (New Rochelle, N.Y.) and Andrew Selian (Portsmouth, R.I.) rounding out the crew, as the boat finished 13th with 152 points.

At the NEISA Women's Championship at Yale, Conn finished 15th with 81 points. The A division boat finished seventh with 47 points, with Lily Saffer (Rye, N.Y.) as the skipper and Maddie Jarbeau (East Greenwich, R.I.) and Aurora Kreyche (Seattle, Wash.) rounding out the crew. The B division boat finished 12th with 34 points, as Izzy Wu-Karr (Baltimore, Md.) with Coco Carragher (New York, N.Y.) rounding out the crew.

Conn wraps up the regular season next weekend, as the Camels travel to King's Point, N.Y. to compete at Merchant Marine.
