NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Connecticut College women's swimming and diving team fell by a 192-87 final to Williams College on Saturday afternoon in NESCAC action at Lott Natatorium.
The Camels picked up a pair of individual wins on the day.
Kailin Fuller (Bowdoinham, Maine) was victorious in the 50 free (24.95) by just over two-tenths of a second, and
Kate Edison (Westford, Mass.) was the first to the wall in the 100 fly (57.99) by nearly a full second. Edison also finished runner-up in the 200 free (1:57.60).
Prior to the start of the meet, the Camels honored their four seniors—Edison,
Rosemary Bonadies (Nashville, Tenn.),
Delaney Brenner (Virginia Beach, Va.) and
Jenna Charlat (Bedford, N.H.)—in a special ceremony. The group, minus an injured Charlat, joined with Fuller to post Conn's top times in both the 200 medley relay (1:51.80) and 200 free relay (1:41.45).
Conn returns to the pool at Colby College on Monday, January 19 at 1:00 p.m.
