WATERVILLE, Maine – The Connecticut College women's swimming and diving team dropped a 184.5-111.5 decision to Colby College on Monday afternoon at the Aquatics Center at the Harold Alfond Athletics and Recreation Center.
The Camels posted five individual wins on the day, headlined by a pair of dominant first-place finishes from
Kate Edison (Westford, Mass.). She won both the 200 fly (2:05.24) and 500 free (5:09.58) by large margins, finishing more than five seconds ahead of her nearest competitor in each race.
Chloe Frandsen (Germantown, Tenn.) turned in the top time in the 1,000 free (10:38.20) and was 14 seconds clear of the next finisher.
Morganne Young (Longwood, Fla.) was the first to the wall in the 100 fly (57.71), and the trio of
Campbell Baumgartner (Charlotte, N.C.),
Emma Lent (Acton, Mass.) and
Elle Yarborough (Bar Harbor, Maine) swept the top three spots in the 400 IM.
Conn (1-5 overall) returns to the pool at Wheaton College on Sunday, January 25 at noon.
