Women's S&D Posts Five Individual Wins at Wesleyan

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The Connecticut College women's swimming and diving team fell by a 179-112 final against Wesleyan University on Saturday afternoon at Webster Family Natatorium.

The Camels posted five individual wins on the day. Chloe Frandsen (Germantown, Tenn.) and Morganne Young (Longwood, Fla.) supplied a pair of victories while Kate Edison (Westford, Mass.) also notched a win.

The Camels got off to a strong start with wins in the first three individual events. After Frandsen took first place in the 1,000 free (10:59.87), Edison was the first to the wall in the 200 free (1:57.75) while Young posted the winning time in the 100 back (1:00.12).

Later in the meet, Frandsen added a win in the 500 free (5:22.03) and Young was victorious in the 100 fly (59.60). 

Conn (1-6 overall) will next compete at Wheaton College on Sunday, February 1 at noon.
