HADLEY, Mass. – Connecticut College senior Maya Griffin (Madison, Wis.) was named New England Small College Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the sport of women's soccer, as announced by the league on Monday afternoon.

Griffin led Conn. College to a 2-0 week. On Wednesday at Emmanuel, Griffin tallied five points on two goals and one assist as the Camels won 5-0. On Saturday, Griffin made her first start of the season, adding two more goals in a 5-1 win at Bridgewater State. She finished the week with nine points on four goals and one assist.

Griffin earns her first career Player of the Week honor, and is the second Camel to earn it this season.

Conn (6-5-1, 2-4-1 NESCAC) returns to action on Wednesday night as the Camels host Trinity at 7:00 p.m. on Silfen Field.
