WATERVILLE, Maine – On the final day of the 2026 NESCAC Men's Swimming & Diving Championships, Connecticut College had eight swimmers qualify for finals spots on Sunday morning at Colby College's Aquatic Center.
Due to the incoming storm that will impact the New England region, today's final session has been moved up to a 1:45 p.m. start. Five individual champions and one relay champion will be crowned.
With the change in the schedule, all heats for the 1,650 free took place during the morning session.
Evan Lyons (Longmeadow, Mass.) cruised to victory—his second in as many days—with a school-record time of 15:29.51. He won the event by more than 11 seconds, becoming just the second Camel to ever win a NESCAC title in the 1,650 free.
Lyons was one of six Camels who scored points in the 1,650 free.
Campbell Noel (Austin, Texas) finished eighth (16:04.09),
Jack Mattison-Gulotta (Florence, Mass.) took 10th (16:05.61),

Four Camels secured spots in championship finals following the morning prelims.
Carrick Shea (Grafton, Mass.) and

Shea posted the fastest time of the morning session (1:57.75) and broke his own school record by 3.5 seconds, while Carlson placed third (1:59.43). Mattison-Gulotta finished sixth in the 200 fly (1:49.40) while
Dawson Rice (Wilbraham, Mass.) took seventh in the 200 back (1:50.07).
Both
