Lily Kerachsky (East Greenwich, R.I.) picked up a 6-3 win at No. 2 while
Marylove Reynolds (Little Rock, Ark.) and
Teagan Skulley (Middleton, Mass.) triumphed by a 6-2 final at No. 3.
Kowalska carried the momentum into singles action, losing only two games en route to a straight-sets victory at No. 1. Kerachsky, Prendergast and Goods also won in straight sets at Nos. 2-4, while
Sana Bhat (New Delhi) and
Nicolette Baksay (Colonia, N.J.) prevailed in match tiebreaks to complete the sweep.
