NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association announced their 2026 Award Winners and Hall of Fame class, with Connecticut College head coach Jeff Bresnahan earning the Graham Hall Award for Outstanding Service by a College Sailing Professional.
This award recognizes organizers, administrators, advisors, or coaches in a professional capacity who have served the best interests of college sailing at the club/team, conference, or national level.
Bresnahan has spent the last 34 years as head coach at Conn, leading the sailing teams to 23 ICSA National Championship regattas, while five sailors have competed for the singlehanded national championship. The Camels have produced 19 ICSA All-Americans and an additional eight All-America Honorable Mention selections during his tenure.
Bresnahan will be inducted into the ICSA Hall of Fame in the Afterguard Division, alongside Alexander Vincenti (James Rousmaniere Award for Student Leadership), Andrew Johnson (Campbell Family Award for Lifetime Service), John Mollicone (Graham Hall Award for Outstanding Service by a College Sailing Professional), and Steve Bushee (Graham Hall Award for Outstanding Service by a Volunteer).
