NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Connecticut College sailing teams returned to action, claiming victory at the Sherman Hoyt Trophy hosted by Brown.

Conn finished first out of 16 teams, scoring 91 points across two racing divisions. The A division boat featured Henry Scholz (Lake Forest, Ill.) and Vivian Smith (Hastings-on-Hudson, N.Y.) and finished first in the division, totaling 40 points, while picking up victories in both the first and ninth races. William Hurd (West Dennis, Mass.) and Charlotte McDonald (Portland, Maine) finished third in the B division on 51 points, highlighted by a first place finish in the fourth race.

Conn returns to action next weekend as the Camels travel to Coast Guard, Rhode Island, and the Women's ACC championships.
