BOSTON, Mass. – Connecticut College junior Danny Aschale (Cambridge, Mass.) raced in the 3,000-meter run at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships on Friday afternoon at the Reggie Lewis Center.

Aschale, who was competing at the indoor championships for the second straight season, placed eighth in his heat by crossing the line in 8:38.02. His time was also the 17th-fastest mark among the 20 competitors in the event.

Aschale and the Connecticut College men's track & field program will now turn its attention to the outdoor season, which beings when the Camels trek to West Chester, Pennsylvania to compete at the West Chester Invitational on Saturday, March 23.
