Box Score NEW LONDON, Conn.--The Connecticut College women's lacrosse team will host 15th ranked Bates College Friday night for a 5:00 p.m. game in New London.
In a pregame ceremony, Head Coach Liz Longley and the Camels will honor their five seniors: Lowell Abbott (Mancheteer, Mass.), Caitlin Cataldo (Orange, Conn.), Haley Dumke (Scarsdale, N.Y.), Izzy Marx (Ridgewood, N.J.) and Charlotte McAuley (Summit, N.J.).
Connecticut College has played nine of its 13 games against teams that are ranked in the IWLCA Top 25.
Saturday, the Camels (4-9, 0-8 NESCAC) dropped an 11-8 decision at Hamilton College. Dumke corralled four ground balls to lead the defense. Hannah Donegan (Great Falls, Va.) had a hat-trick Saturday and has accounted for 14 goals and three assists for a total of 17 points this season.
Donegan is ninth in the NESCAC with 29 draw controls and has also corralled 19 ground balls in a productive rookie campaign. Maggie Hogan (Arnold, Md.) is 12th in the conference with her 22 ground balls.
Sophomore Allisa Dalpe (East Falmouth, Mass.) is ranked second in the league with 90 saves and is contributing 8.2 saves per start in her first full season as starter in the cage.
Lowell Abbott is the team's leading active scorer with 77 goals and 12 assists for a total of 89 points. Taylor Thomas (Needham, Mass.) has scored 20 goals to lead the Camel offense this season.
Under the direction of Head Coach Brett Allen, the Bobcats (7-6, 3-5) have recorded conference victories against Trinity, Hamilton and Wesleyan.
Sophomore net-minder Hannah Jeffrey has made 100 saves to lead the NESCAC for Bates.
