The Polar Bears improved their record to 7-3-3 with a 3-3-3 mark in the NESCAC. The Camels fell to 9-4-1 while evening their mark in the conference at 4-4-1.

Connecticut College opened the scoring in the ninth minute of action. Senior Matthew Bitchell (Byfield, Mass.) delivered the ball up top to Chris Lockwood (Glastonbury, Conn.) who beat Bowdoin keeper Stevie Van Siclen (Carlisle, Mass.) to the far post for a score.

The visitors had a great chance to tie the game in the final minute of the first half. Junior Matt Dias Costa (Natick, Mass.) broke free in a one-on-one situation but Connecticut College junior Austin DaCunha (Brookfield, Conn.) was able to make a diving save and the hosts carried the 1-0 advantage into the break.

In the 73rd minute, the visitors were able to take advantage of a set piece to even things up at one when Jones buried a free kick.

Keefe put the visitor on top for good with his low blast in the 74th minute.

The Camels pressured Bowdoin late in the contest but the visitors were able to hold on for the 2-1 win.

Van Siclen had one save for the Polar Bears, while DaCunha finished with one stop for the Camels.
