NEW LONDON, Conn.—The top ranked Williams College women's tennis team earned a 9-0 victory against Connecticut College on the South Tennis Courts Sunday.
The Ephs improved their record to 13-0 with a 3-0 mark in conference action, while the Camels fell to 8-10 with a 1-4 record in the NESCAC.
The closest battle of the day occurred at number one singles. Williams College senior Maria Pylpiv (Weatogue, Conn.) edged Connecticut College rookie Aleksandra Drljaca (East Greenwich, R.I.) in 3-6, 6-0, 6-1 victory.
At sixth singles, Connecticut College sophomore Susanna Studwell (Tucson, Ariz.) dropped a competitive 6-3, 6-3 decision to Williams junior Maya Hart (Amherst, Mass.).
