NEW LONDON, Conn.--The Hamilton College women's tennis team secured a 7-2 victory against Connecticut College in a match played on the South Tennis Courts Saturday.
The Continentals improved their record to 12-8 with a 2-3 mark in the NESCAC, while the Camels fell to 8-12 with a 1-6 record in conference play.
Aleksandra Drljaca (East Greenwich, R.I.) posted a 4-6, 6-2, 6-0 victory at number one singles to lead the Camels in the setback.
Winnie Tang (Shenzhen, China) notched a 6-1, 0-6, 7-6 victory to lead the visiting Continentals in a triumph at second singles. Junior Isabella Schoning (Woodbury, N.J.) notched a 6-3, 6-4 victory at third singles for Hamilton.
Connecticut College junior Adrienne Sieverding (Red Hook, N.Y.) and Drljaca earned an 8-4 win at number one doubles for the hosts.
