MIDDLETOWN, Conn.—Senior Brendan McClintick (pictured, Mercersburg, Pa.) posted an 11-5, 11-9, 2-11, 11-9 victory at number one singles to lead the Connecticut College men's squash team to a 5-4 victory against Tufts University in the consolation round of the NESCAC Championship at Wesleyan University Saturday.
Junior Matt Lillie (Weston, Mass.) chipped in with an 11-9, 11-8, 11-4 victory in the third slot on the ladder. Sophomore John Dunham (New Haven, Conn.) registered a 6-11, 11-3, 11-4, 11-8 in the fourth spot in the line-up while Niccolo Premutico (Brooklyn, N.Y.) took care of business at number five, grinding out an 11-9, 8-11, 11-8, 8-11, 11-9 thriller in five sets for the winning side.
Freshman Louis Feingold impressed with a 12-10, 11-6, 11-8 victory in the eighth slot in the lineup for Head Coach Barry Ward's squad.
