ITHACA, N.Y.--Senior Charlotte Marcoux (Sudbury, Mass.) posted a 6-0, 6-1 victory at number three singles in her final collegiate match to lead the Connecticut College women's tennis team to a 5-4 victory against Ithaca College Sunday afternoon.
The Camels wrap up the season with a record of 11-10. It's the first time the team has eclipsed the.500 mark since 2007. The Bombers fell to 14-7 with the setback.
Freshman Emily Migliorini (North Haven, Conn.) notched a 6-1, 6-0 win at number two singles for the Camels. Sophomore Angelica Warren (McLeansville, N.C.) contributed with a 7-6, 6-3 victory at fourth singles. Junior Susanna Studwell (Tucson, Ariz.) checked in with a 6-1, 6-2 triumph at fifth singles for the winning side.
In doubles action, Angelica and Mariah Warren paired up to take an 8-6 victory at second doubles for Connecticut College.
