BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Connecticut College men's squash team opened its 2017-18 season with three matches over the weekend in Maine. The Camels fell by scores of 9-0 to Bates, 8-1 to Colby and 8-1 to Bowdoin.
Sophomore Samuel Piller (Charlottesville, Va.) highlighted the weekend for the squad by winning two of his three matches from the No. 6 position. He first defeated Andrew Swapp of Colby by scores of 11-9, 11-9, 7-11 and 11-7 before outlasting Uday Khanna of Bowdoin in five games.
Connecticut College (0-3) returns to action when it travels to Amherst College for a round robin tournament on Saturday, Dec. 2.
