Men's Squash Dominates Northeastern to Highlight Saturday Matches

AMHERST, Mass. – Freshmen Alex Snape (Washington, D.C.) and James Andrew (Dover, Mass.) recorded their first collegiate wins to help the Connecticut College men's squash team register an 8-1 victory over Northeastern at a round robin tournament hosted by Amherst College on Saturday afternoon. The Camels also fell to the host Mammoths earlier in the day.

Snape defeated Northeastern's Daniel Blohm from the No. 1 position in four games by scores of 12-14, 11-8, 11-7, and 11-8. Andrew swept Matthew Swenson in three games from the No. 7 spot by scores of 11-2, 11-2, and 11-6, while five other Camels beat their Husky opponent in three games to contribute to the team's first win of the season.

Connecticut College (1-4) returns to action at Wesleyan on Friday, Dec. 8 at 6:00 p.m.
