Camels Sweep Smith and Mount Holyoke

SOUTH HADLEY, Mass.--Aleksandra Drljaca (East Greenwich, R.I.) secured a 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 victory at number one singles to lead the Connecticut College women's tennis team to a 5-4 victory against Mount Holyoke College Saturday.

The Camels improved their record to 5-2 with the victory while the Lyons fell to 10-6. Emily Migliorini (North Haven, Conn.) chipped in with a 6-0, 6-4 triumph at second singles. Stephanie Simon (Wellesley, Mass.) posted a 7-6, 6-4 win at third singles for the Camels. Susanna Studwell (Tucson, Ariz.) contributed with a 6-0, 6-1 victory at sixth singles for Connecticut College. 

In doubles action, Angelica and Mariah Warren (McLeansville, N.C.) posted an 8-2 triumph at second doubles for Connecticut College.

The Camels knocked off Smith College in their second match of the day, improving to 6-2.  Smith College is 4-7. Migliorini prevailed in a 6-2, 6-1 decision at first singles. Angelica and Mariah Warren earned an 8-2 victory at second doubles.
