NEW LONDON, Conn.--Connecticut College senior Susanna Studwell (Tucson, Ariz.) secured a 6-2, 6-3 victory at number six singles to lead the Camel women's tennis team to a 5-4 NESCAC triumph against Hamilton College in the Whaling City today.

The Camels improved their record to 7-8 while closing out their NESCAC slate with a mark of 1-6. They will wrap up the season tomorrow morning when they host the Bombers from Ithaca College in a 10:00 a.m. match. 

Sophomore Emily Migliorini (North Haven, Conn.) chipped in with a 6-2, 6-1 victory at second singles for the hosts. At fifth singles, junior Angelica Warren (McLeansville, N.C.) registered a 6-1, 6-0 win for the Camels.

Migliorini and Stephanie Simon (Wellesley, Mass.) joined forces to come away with an 8-5 win at number one doubles this morning. At third doubles, senior Adrienne Sieverding (Red Hook, N.Y.) and sophomore Brinley Bartlett (Malvern, Pa.), a 2017 Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar, secured an 8-6 victory for the hosts. 

Tomorrow morning, the Camels will honor the senior class comprised of Sieverding, Studwell and Jillian Brigandi (Harrington Park, N.J.) in a pre-match ceremony as they take to the courts for the final time here in Camel Country.

Hamilton College wrapped up a successful season with a record of 10-8 with a 1-6 mark in conference play. Senior Winnie Tang (Shenzhen, China) posted a 6-1, 6-0 win at number one singles to lead the Continentals in the final match of her career. Sophomore Jane Haffer (New Albany, Ohio) battled back to take a 3-6, 6-0, 6-3 win at number three singles for the visitors. 

Sophomore Samantha Weeks (Tacoma, Wash.) registered a 7-5, 6-3 victory for the Continentals at fourth singles.  Senior Claire Keyte (New York, N.Y.) and Weeks pulled out a 9-8 win at second doubles for the visitors.
