WATERVILLE, Maine – The Connecticut College women's tennis team was blanked by Colby, 9-0, on Saturday afternoon.
Despite the outcome, the Camels were competitive by stretching three singles matches out to three sets and dropping two of the three doubles matches by just two points. Junior Emily Migliorini (North Haven, Conn.) fell at No. 1 singles by set scores of 6-4, 2-6 and 10-6 and came up just short at No. 2 doubles with freshman Meredith Kenny (Phoenix, Ariz.) by an 8-6 decision. Seniors Angelica Warren (McLeansville, N.C.) and Mariah Warren (McLeansville, N.C.), meanwhile were outlasted, 9-7, in No. 1 doubles play.
Connecticut College (2-4, NESCAC 0-3) visits Bates tomorrow morning at 10 a.m.
