Men's Squash Dominates Vassar and Haverford

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – The Connecticut College men's squash team posted two dominating victories over host Vassar and Haverford on Saturday. The Camels first swept the Brewers, 9-0, and followed up with a 7-2 victory over the Fords later in the day.

In the blanking of Vassar, freshman Tyler Maguire (Middletown, R.I.) most notably cruised past Matthew Hein at the No. 4 position by scores of 11-1, 11-1, and 11-3. The Haverford match featured two Camels registering wins in five marathon sets. Sophomore Andre Giglio (Easton, Conn.) took the top spot by set scores of 12-10, 11-6, 5-11, 6-11, and 11-9, while classmate Luigi Pasquariello (Bronx, N.Y.) rallied to capture the No. 8 position by marks of 7-11, 9-11, 11-1, 11-4, and 11-5.

Connecticut College (3-1) will next face Dickinson and Williams at Yale on Sunday.
