NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Connecticut College men's squash team downed Hamilton, 7-2, after recognizing the program's four seniors on Friday evening.
Sophomore Christopher Mach (Concord, Mass.) earned the most thrilling win of the day by outlasting his opponent in five sets from the No. 9 spot. He took down his opponent by scores of 7-11, 11-9, 11-8, 11-13, and 11-9. Seniors Mikey Rodriguez (New Haven, Conn.) and Samuel Piller (Charlottesville, Va.) were also among the Camel winners in their final appearances at home. Rodriguez captured the No. 5 spot by marks of 12-10, 5-11, 11-6, and 11-8, while Piller triumphed at No. 7 by scores of 11-6, 11-3, and 11-5.
Connecticut College (5-6) will next travel to Amherst to face Wesleyan and Hobart on Friday, Jan. 24.
