Connecticut College 6, Neumann University 2 Dineen Tallies Two Goals & Two Assists for Camels

ASTON, Pa.--Amelia Dineen (Arlington, Mass.) scored two goals and assisted on two others to lead the Connecticut College women's hockey team to a 6-2 victory Sunday that completed a two-game sweep of Neumann University in Aston, Pennsylvania.

The Camels improve their record to 4-3-1 with the triumph, while the Knights slip to 2-8-1.

Senior Ariel DiPasquale (Whitestone, N.Y.) and junior forward Courtney Dumont (Yarmouth, Maine) both contributed with a goal and an assists for the winning side. Caroline Corbett (Norwood, Mass.) and Alexa de la Guardia (Flower Mound, Texas) contributed third period markers for the Camels.

Amy Leichliter (West Chester, Pa.) made 20 saves for the Camels and was relieved by Lee Tsairis (York Harbor, Maine), who made one stop over the closing 6:57 of regulation.

Junior forward Edie Brenning (Greely, Ontario) paced the hosts with a goal and an assist. Kelsey Waller (Windsor, Ontario) potted her first goal of the season for Neumann.

Senior net-minder Allie Frank (Phoenix, Ariz.) stopped 42 shots in goal for the Knights.

The Camels out-shot the Knights 48-to-23 in the victory.
