Connecticut College 8, Coast Guard 1 Camels Post Sixth Straight Win, Suneby Moves to 7-0 at #1

NEW LONDON, Conn.--Connecticut College secured an 8-1 victory against local rival Coast Guard in match that was moved to Roland Fieldhouse due to weather.

Head Coach Chris O'Brien's Camels improve to 6-3 with their sixth consecutive win.  The Bears are 3-3

Senior Josh Suneby (Wellesley, Mass.) continued to build on his torrid start at number one singles, rallying for a 3-6, 6-3, 6-3 victory to move to 7-0 this spring.  JC Cangelosi (Estero, Fla.) secured a 6-2, 7-5 win at second singles.  Junior Jonathan Kraiger (Springfield, Vt.) checked in with a 7-6, 6-1 triumph at number three.

Kraiger and Ben Sachs (Mount Kisco, N.Y.) joined forces in an 8-6 victory at second doubles.

The Bears doubles team of Mark Guentert and Weston Fortna recorded the only win for the Bears at #1 doubles with an 8-6 victory.
