Connecticut College 9, Ithaca College 0 Surging Camels Post Sixth Straight Win in New London

NEW LONDON, Conn.--The Connecticut College men's tennis team cruised to a 9-0 victory against visiting Ithaca College in a match that was played on the rubber courts in Luce Field House Sunday.

The Camels improved their record to 7-3 with their sixth consecutive victory while the Bombers fell to 4-5-1.

Senior Josh Suneby (Wellesley, Mass.) continues to play his best tennis for the Camels this spring. Suneby improved his record to 8-0 at number one singles with a 6-3, 6-2 victory Sunday. JC Cangelosi (Estero, Fla.) coasted to a 6-0, 6-0 shutout win at second singles. Junior Jonathan Kriager (Springfield, Vt.) posted a 6-1, 6-2 win at third singles for the hosts.

Suneby and Cangelosi joined forces in a 9-8 win against Jack Melhorn (Nonthaburi, Thailand) and Wes Davis (Lancaster, Pa.) of Ithaca.
