MIDDLETOWN, Conn.--Senior Michael Liu (Basking Ridge, N.J.) posted a 6-1, 6-0 victory at number one singles to lead the eighth ranked Wesleyan University men's tennis team in a 9-0 victory against Connecticut College today.
The Cardinals improved their record to 8-1 and are a perfect 3-0 in NESCAC play. The Camels fell to 4-6 and are 0-3 in conference action.
Patrick Farrell (Smithtown, N.Y.) dropped a competitive 6-2, 6-3 decision for the Camels at #6 singles. Charlie Williams (Mercer Island, Wash.) and Ben Sachs (Mount Kisco, N.Y.) dropped a competitive 8-4 decision at #2 doubles for Head Coach Chris O'Brien's squad.
