NEW LONDON, Conn.--Senior Carl Reid (Boston, Mass.) posted a 7-5, 6-3 victory at number one singles to lead the 29th ranked Colby College men's tennis team to an 8-1 victory at Colby College Saturday.
The visiting Mules improved their record to 9-4 with a 1-2 record in conference play. The Camels evened their mark at 4-4 and are 0-1 in the NESCAC.
Senior Vlad Romad (Bacau, Romania) chipped in with a 6-1, 6-0 victory at second singles for the visitors. Connecticut College junior Ben Sachs (Mount Kisco, N.Y.) and sophomore Charlie Williams (Mercer Island, Wash.) joined forces to take a 9-7 victory for the Camels at second doubles.
