NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Connecticut College men's tennis team dropped its opening dual match of the season to Babson by a 5-4 decision on Saturday afternoon.
Babson (2-0) led 2-1 after doubles play and clinched the match when Chris Kolesnik defeated Connecticut College's Ben Sachs at No. 4 singles by scores of 6-2 and 6-3. Despite the outcome, the Camels most notably got comeback victories from Henry DeCoster at No. 3 singles and Patrick Farrell at No. 6 singles. DeCoster won by set scores of 4-6, 6-4 and 6-4 while Farrell rallied to triumph by marks of 1-6, 6-1 and 10-7.
Connecticut College (0-1) will next face Coast Guard on Thursday, March 29 at 3:30 p.m.
