No. 7 Amherst Blanks Men's Tennis

AMHERST, Mass. – The Connecticut College men's tennis team fell to No. 7 Amherst by a 9-0 score on Wednesday afternoon in a NESCAC matchup. 

Juniors Johnny Cissel (Amherst, N.H.), Charlie Williams (Mercer Island, Wash.) and Scott Brown (Old Greenwich, Conn.) were all competitive in their respective matchups. Cissel and Williams were edged at No. 2 doubles by a 9-8 margin, while Brown came up just short at No. 5 singles by set scores of 7-6 and 6-2.

Connecticut College (2-4, NESCAC 0-3) remains on the road this weekend to face Colby and Maine. The Camels will first face the Mules in Waterville on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m.
